JHU Digital Experience
Role: Graphic Designer
Client: Johns Hopkins University
Year: 2021-2023
Scope: Digital, Email, Airport ads, Magazine ads
The Challenge
JHU needed to keep their digital experience effectively communicating a large volume of information while remaining clear, accessible, and easy to navigate. The challenge was organizing complex academic content into a structured system that allowed users to quickly find relevant information without feeling overwhelmed through different medias.
My Role
I designed digital experiences from layout to final visual design, focusing on creating a clear and scalable structure. My work included organizing content, defining visual hierarchy, and developing components that could be reused across different content types.
Approach
Social media advertisements were a key part of the campaign, helping reach a broader audience through targeted digital placements. I designed a system that prioritized clarity and structure, using consistent layout patterns, clear typographic hierarchy, and intentional spacing to ensure messaging was easy to scan and quickly understood in fast-scrolling environments.
Outcome
The campaign successfully gave Luminis Health a unified visual presence across outdoor, print, and digital media. By carrying one central message across many formats, the work helped support the rollout of the newly combined brand.
